Bust Sling Dress Design Variations

I made these two dresses for my model who was going on holiday to Hawaii and liked the idea of having garments that did not require her to wear one of her "DD" cup commercial bras.

For these two dresses I designed the pattern so that the seam would run from the rib cage to the top of the Styling Cup as shown in the photo. For the black dress I added 1/8" fiber fill to the lining to give the Styling Cup a little more body.

The black dress was modified with Princess Seams in the body of the skirt. And while my model finds the "X" Back styling much more comfortable to wear, she wanted the dresser look of the halter style for evening wear.
