Balconette Bra

The pattern for a Balconette Bra is cut low in the front providing a "balcony" for the breasts. Notice also how the straps are moved to the side to provide more exposure of the upper chest. The further the straps are moved away from the apex of the breast, the less support they provide. This is definitely a design choice the wearer needs to be comfortable with.
